Keynote and Q&A with HEIDI AHONEN.
Heidi works as a managing partner in Nostetta Ventures Oy, a venture capital company that makes investments from recently established North Savo Startup Fund. Heidi has a 20 years experience from venture capital business. She worked 15 years in Finnvera’s venture capital unit in various positions, and was in the team building up Aloitusrahasto Vera’s investment operations in 2005. Starting from 13,5MEUR fund size, Aloitusrahasto Vera grew in ten years to 150MEUR VC fund, and was the biggest nationwide fund for innovative growth-oriented startups with over 150 portfolio companies. Before jumping into Nostetta Ventures, Heidi was responsible for Finnvera’s VC operations and the fund of 30 portfolio companies. Heidi has been an active board member in her portfolio companies, and aims to help them develop in every way. She appreciates good corporate governance and believes in open atmosphere, communication and mutual values.
